Camden Health
Outreach Project
We provide weekly outreach advice services in six Camden GP surgeries, in Health and Community Centres and as session for in-patients at St Pancras Hospital. This work is undertaken in partnership with NHS Camden.
By working in the community, we target some of Camden’s most vulnerable residents, many of whom find it difficult to access mainstream advice services.
The majority of referrals come from health staff and key workers in the clinics or community centres.
Much of the advice involves casework undertaken on clients’ behalf in the key
enquiry areas of benefits, community care, housing, debt, financial capability and money management. The service works with clients who often have ongoing physical and/or mental health difficulties.
Advice sessions are held at:
Kentish Town Health Centre, Somers Town Medical Centre, Brondesbury Medical Centre, Hunter Street Health Centre, West Hampstead Women’s Centre, St Pancras Hospital and Adelaide Medical Centre.
If you are a patient at one of the above centres, please contact the centre for an appointment.
