Citizens Advice Camden is the leading provider of voluntary sector advice services in Camden and one of the largest Citizens Advice in London. We help approximately 9,400 people each year with free, confidential and impartial advice on a wide range of issues.
We are looking for an experienced generalist adviser to work on our new Community Outreach Project. We have secured funding from the HS2 Camden Fund to deliver face-to-face outreach advice clinics and community development and partnership building in those areas of Camden impacted by the HS2 redevelopment work.
By going out to community locations we will increase accessibility for people who may not otherwise use our services. To meet the needs of working people this will include delivering a half day advice clinic on Saturdays (frequency to be decided.)
You’ll have the ability to interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to get to the root of the issues and empower clients, whilst maintaining structure and control of meetings. You will also have experience of building positive relationships with partner agencies and groups.
If you have these skills and experience we would like to hear from you.
