Help to Claim Supervisor
Hours: 35 hours per week (full-time).
Location: Hybrid – remote and office working
Starting Salary: £31,296 to £32,586 FTE per annum, depending on experience

About Help to Claim
Our Help to Claim service assists people in making their Universal Credit claims from advising if Universal Credit is the right benefit for them up to ensuring they receive their first correct payment. Citizens Advice Camden has delivered the Help to Claim service since it launched three years ago and is now funded to deliver year four. From 1st April 2022, Help to Claim will be delivered by telephone and webchat as part of the national service with video calling expected to be included during the year. The service will be available Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Help to Claim Supervisor with excellent technical knowledge of Universal Credit to meet our immediate need for additional supervisor support for our growing team of advisers. This includes ensuring that other advice needs are identified and appropriately referred. Reporting to the Help to Claim Project Manager, you will work flexibly across Help to Claim advice delivery and supervision as needed to ensure our delivery and quality standards are met. We anticipate that over a year, your time will roughly divide into 60% advice delivery and 40% supervision.
We are located in central London and our Help to Claim team will be working a hybrid office-based/ remote model. Our priority is excellent technical expertise and supervisor skills and so we would be prepared to consider a remote working Supervisor role for the right candidate.
