About Citizens Advice Camden
Citizens Advice Camden is a well-respected local charity with more than 80 years’ experience of delivering free, independent and impartial advice and casework services to those most in need.
About the Role
Our Advice North Camden project is funded by The Hampstead Wells and Campden Trust, who are a local charity keen to support the provision of high-quality advice services to people living within the Trust’s area of benefit, see https://hwct.org.uk/.
The purpose of the role is to provide high-quality generalist advice and casework for those living within the Trust’s area of benefit, to help address the impacts of the cost-of-living crisis. Advice areas will range between welfare benefits, housing, employment, consumer and more.
This is a full-time position for an experienced generalist adviser who has an excellent knowledge or all areas of advice. Project targets are set taking account of the complex nature the casework and the advice needs of our clients. The project will be delivered through a mix of remote working and face-to-face sessions at outreach locations in the Trust’s area of benefit, to increase accessibility for people who may not otherwise use our services. The project adviser will be working a blended outreach-based/ remote model.
The role is offered at the Senior Adviser grade. However, we would consider appointing a qualified, but less experienced generalist adviser at Adviser grade to develop in the role. As Senior Adviser you would be expected to self-supervise, liaise with advice partners, set-up outreach services, and deliver initial reporting on the service.
