The Advising Londoners Project came to an end in December 2025, and we’re thrilled to have been part of this transformative initiative for the past three years. Created to strengthen London’s advice sector during the cost-of-living crisis, the project empowered us to deliver holistic, in-depth support to those who needed it most.
Our Crisis Prevention adviser provided comprehensive advice and casework across all areas, ensuring vulnerable clients received the dedicated help they needed. We delivered advice in the community- in foodbanks, warm hubs, children’s centres, and worked closely with local partners to reach those most in need.
Over the course of the project, we supported 730 clients and their families, tackling 2,767 issues through 3,000 contacts with clients and third parties. From benefits and housing to debt and utilities, our work delivered real impact.
We also participated in Advice First Aid and recognise the value of organisations receiving training to better support their service users.
We’re proud of the difference this project has made for Camden residents, and grateful to everyone who helped make it happen!
