Why we need your help
As an independent local charity, some of the work at Citizens Advice Camden is carried out by highly trained volunteers.
The aim of Citizens Advice Camden is:
“to ensure that individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities or of the services available to them, or through an inability to express their needs effectively and equally: to exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services both locally and nationally.”
We assist people from all walks of life within the community by giving them the information and tools needed to manage their problems; working in areas including debt, housing, benefits, employment, and relationships.
Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Citizens Advice Camden has an amazing team of volunteers who give up their time, energy, resources and skills to help provide a service to the people of Camden.
Whatever your experience, skills or interests we can offer a role that will give you the chance to meet new people, learn new things and make a difference to the people around you.
Our clients come from range of backgrounds, cultures and abilities and so it is important to us that our people do too. It means that we have volunteers from all walks of life, adding to the diversity of our organisation and bringing their experiences to benefit us and the people we support.
We offer excellent progression opportunities and free training.
